Teri Brotbacker Kirsch is the President and founder of the Foundation, and Julia’s Mom. She received her B.A. in History from Boston University and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law. After Law School she worked at the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission for 10 years and then PaineWebber.
In addition to her work with the Foundation, Teri is self-employed in the finance industry. Teri serves as a member of the Arc of Bergen & Passaic Planning & Guardianship Board, and also serves as the Chair of the Board’s Investment Committee.
She grew up in Wayne, New Jersey and currently resides in Glen Rock, New Jersey with her husband and two children.
Harriett Brotbacker Nachum serves as Secretary of the Foundation and is Julia’s aunt.
She owns and operates a video and photo montage production company, White Dog Productions LLC.
She received her B.S. in Marketing from Penn State University and a Masters in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management . Harriett worked in sales, marketing, and product development for AT&T.
She grew up in Wayne, New Jersey and currently resides in Tenafly, New Jersey with her husband and two children.
Karen Rauch Ryan serves as Treasurer of the Foundation.
She is an Executive Director with Ernst & Young in New York and specializes in State and Local Tax involving financial services corporations and business entities. Karen received her LL.M in Taxation from New York University, her J.D. from the Boston University School of Law, and her B.S. from Cornell University. Karen previously worked at Merrill Lynch and two other Big 4 accounting firms in the New York area.
She grew up on Long Island and now resides in Glen Rock, New Jersey with her husband and two children.
Michele Miller Silver is the Assistant Director of the Gold Humanism Honor Society at the Arnold P. Gold Foundation.
She earned her B.S. from Stony Brook and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
